A Hero Product! (Decleor Hydra Floral Hydrating Fresh Emulsion)
Advantages: light-weight and absorbs well, smells wonderful Disadvantages: expensive, not easily available
I have been trying to find a light-weight moisturiser for ages because I am beginning to get tired of creamy moisturisers that make my dry skin look oily and feel uncomfortable. I believe, for now, I have found the perfect moisturiser that absorbs well into the skin making my skin feel fresh and light. This product is Hydra Floral Emulsion by Decleor. The smell is so wonderful and refreshing, and most importantly, it doesn’t give me a headache! It makes me skin feel really soft and although the texture is so light, I don’t see any signs of flakiness on my skin after using this product. It’s active ingredients are aromatic waters of mint and orange blossom, original orange water, codium extract and a UVB encapsulated filter. It also contains hazelnut oil which is useful for treating acne and scarred or ageing skin. This versatile moisturiser is suitable for any skin types. Because I have dry skin, I usually apply 2 drops of Aromessence neroli, also by Decleor, before applying this emulsion. This ensures all-day hydration for my skin. One of the disadvantages of this product is that it doesn’t say how high the SPF is, and it doesn’t provide protection against UVA rays which cause ageing. I suppose the other ingredients in the formula takes care of the ageing problem. This moisturiser is also very expensive – 26 for 50 ml. Nevertheless, this is a hero product in my books, of course, until I find a better moisturiser in the future! Summary: |
