Advantages: Cheap and everything under one roof

B&M Bargains is a fantastic store chain with shops over England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The chain now boasts over 100 stores in these locations and have now been trading for over 30 years starting out with a store in Blackpool and gradually building their reputation as one of the most popular retailers in the country with over 1,000,000 customers entering the stores each week.

B&M Bargains is a shop that sells everything and at really low prices. If you have a store near you then you really must pay it a visit.

Toiletries/Cleaning Products

There really is something for everyone in this shop. The range of food and drinks covers waters, alcohol, pop, crisps, tinned veg, biscuits, cooking sauces, bread, sugar, tea bags, coffee, canned goods, pot noodles, brunch bars, sweets and chocolates.

All the above are generally named brands but at much cheaper prices than you would find in the larger supermarket chains.

The clothing range is quite limited and generally is more aimed at young children or older women so have never found anything suitable for my tastes in that dept.

The toy range is fantastic and really helps me at Christmas when buying 'token' gifts for friends children. Again most of the toys are named brands eg: tony and range from toys suitable for babies to dolls, outdoor toys, cars, puzzles, books etc for toddlers and young children. A bargain can always be found in the toy section and this shop is where I look first when buying presents.

Again the homeware and garden section are pretty jam packed too. Homeware includes 'decor' items such as candles, mirrors, vases as well as glasses, plates, tea towels, towels, place mats, bins, toasters, toastie makers and other items.

Some of the decor items in my opinion can be cheap but if you have the opportunity to have a good look around you can always find something suitable that does not have the 'tacky' edge to it.

Beauty products include deodrant, toothpaste, hair dye, soap, shower gel etc. A wide range of products, however with this section you will find that you can probably get some items cheaper elsewhere. Not as good a section as the likes of food/drink and toy areas.

Furnishings include towels, bedding, sheets and curtains and after having brought a couple of products from this section I was quite surprised at the quality of them. You wouldnt tell the difference between B&Ms own branded furnishings to that from somewhere far more expensive.

The cleaning section pretty much explains itself. All items needed for laundry, glass cleaning, bin bags, air freshners, rags, dusters and general household chores can be found here and again this is a great part of the store and I have found many a bargain here.

All in all a great shop for those on a low budget. Not all items found here are of the highest quality but I have come across some real bargains shopping here and am now a regular visitor. Should you have a B&M bargains in or around your area I really do recommend you pay it a visit.
