Discount stores are suddenly springing up all over the place and one of the latest in my local town is B & M bargains having been told it was really very good by a friend I decided to pop along and see what it was all about.

B & M bargains offer a wide selection of productions and have regularly changing stock so if you see it buy it as it may not be there next time you visit!

What is the store?
B& M bargains has been trading since 1976 the majority off there stores are based in the north east area however they are steadily expanding. The philosophy is good quality products at low prices.

Stock
B& M sells named, branded quality products at low prices they buy manufactures clearance stock or end of lines. The stores have regularly changing stock and of course when it's gone it's gone on lots of products they store I use stocks household products, food stuff, cleaning products, toys, pet section.

Products I have bought.

B & M bargains was an excellent source for stocking fillers including a Thomas the tank engine and Disney princess torch priced at £1.25 each, I also got the following items
Hot water bottles in knitted jumpers £2.99 each
Hair brush with hair ties 79p
Hello Kitty and Thomas chocolates 50p each
Build your own Thomas the tank engine £6.99
Socks 89p a pair

I also regularly buy crisps for the packed lunches at 99p a packet plus they have milkshake straws at 29p a packet for 5.

This week I have purchased storage boxes at £1.99 a laundry bag for £2.99 dog toy for 99p children's lunch bags 59p pop up kids storage £1.49 garden moss £1.20 a bag.

I also regularly buy photo frames starting from 79p I have also got Disney princess canvasses for my daughters bedroom £1.99 each the home section is great for quick cheap updates whilst still getting good quality.

Recommendation
I think that B&M bargains is great the home section is brilliant for getting cheap good quality updates I am very impressed at the selection on offer and it is somewhere I pop into each time I am in town, the food section is good but you still need to have an idea on the supermarket prices as sometimes B&M can be more expensive as they do not have buy one get one free etc.

I would also like to add a word of caution here it is very easy to pop in for something and come out 30minutes later having spent far more than you intended too!
