Harrods is definitely a must visit when in the Knightsbridge area of London. It is a beautiful building both inside and out. However, all the items in Harrods are for the super-rich. There is always the souvenir department where you can pick up a pen at a more reasonable price. Harrods has some amazing garments in the store and even if you have no intention of buying them it is still fun to look around at some of the unique pieces. A must visit when in London shopping. It is a beautiful building. You come out of Knightsbridge tube station to a side entrance and go straight into the store where you will find store guides to help you on your way. Yes Harrods is expensive but not over priced. They sell very good quality, designer products but they do sell "normal" priced goods too! One such item was purchased by one of the children cheaper than they had seen it the day before, plus with her Harrods bag she walked around proudly displaying it the rest of the day! I have found the selection of things amazing and the selection of prices astounding! To go from one ...

Harrods is a British institution (but realistically speaking only for the rich and famous!) It is definitely a must see for any London tourist. It really is quite a spectacle! When my mum and I visited we felt distinctly underdressed, but it was funny to see all the wealthy Arabs running around with their personal shoppers and their entourage coming along behind struggling with the weight of all the shopping bags they had to carry! Even the shops exterior has the most amazing air of opulence, it really is lovely. If you can afford it, great...if you can't, i really wouldnt worry Nice to see once Nice to buy a souvenir just cos its from harrods ...
