HarrodsNewest Review: ... glass with Diana's lipstick on. There are security guards at all of the doors in Harrods and sometimes when I've been in they have been searching through bags just like many museums and theaters do these days. I would suggest reading the visitor guidelines on the website before you visit are there are some rules such as carrying your rucksack in your hands and not on the back and refrain ... more |

I love Harrods and always go in when I'm visiting London. Located on Brompton road in Knightsbridge with easy access to tubes and buses, it is visited by thousands everyday. The best way to visit Harrods is by tube with the nearest station being knightsbridge on the picadilly line. The store is open 10am - 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11.30am - 6pm on Sundays. Harrods is a very impressive building inside and out. There are always fantastic window displays so even if you do not wish to go in, you can walk outside and enjoy the spectacular window arrangements especially around Christmas time. Harrods can be said to be one of the major internationally recognized tourist attractions in London. Visit Harrods on a Saturday afternoon and the store is packed with tourists. Unlike very bland department stores such as Peter Jones, Harrods has gone through many transformations of the years. Overall my favourite would be the Georgian ... Read the complete review

To get to Harrods, I get the Piccadilly line on the underground to Knightsbridge, the shop being a quick walk from this station. There are several numbered entrances, I tend to either enter through door 5 or door 6 and there are always Harrods guards on the doors vetting every person that enters. There is ... Harrods is a department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London and is part of the Harrods brand which have several other enterprises under it's belt such as Harrods Aviation & Air Harrods. The store itself is something that I find to be instantly recognisable as it is currently one of the largest department stores in the word and is one that I thoroughly visiting, even if just for a browse. The store itself occupies a 4.5 acre site and has around 300 different departments within. It really would be quite possible to spend several days exploring the different areas of the store and spending enough money to clear all third world ... Read the complete review
