Harrods Department Store

Newest Review: ... Late on the third day I received two emails from the store informing me that none of the items that I had ordered were in stock and they were unable to fulfil the order. I rang customer services as I found it hard to believe that it had taken 3 days to establish that they didn't have the stock which they had been advertising as both in stock and available for sale. I was informed that this is a very common occurrence when orders are placed online especially during their sales as they have no real time stock management system which updates the availability of items. A very poor online experience from a supposed world class department sto... more

I placed an order online with Harrords, when they confirmed my order I was informed that the goods would be delivered within 3 - 5 working days. Harrods has got to be one of the most well known department stores in London and is located in Knightsbridge right by the Knightsbridge tube station, on the Piccadilly line which makes it extremely easy to get to, along with plenty of buses passing by too. Now I am not a local so don't visit Harrod's all the time, infact I don't live anywhere near London so it's not a usual haunt of mine however everytime I goto London it is one of the first stops I make. The store itself is massive, each floor is huge and its stacked up on 7 floors, it's rather easy to get lost in there but its very well sign posted, signs at all turning points help you navigate ...  Read the complete review

I took my first trip to Harrods a couple of years ago while in Knightsbridge. It is located very close to the underground station in Knightsbridge, making it a convenient visit if you are having a day out. No matter which direction you are coming from there will be an entrance near you as there are several of them located around the building, each of which have a security guard and often someone to open the door for you on arrival. You will instantly be hit by the luxury element of this store, its impossible not to notice. Harrods brings a new meaning to the phrase department store and is different from other high end stores I.e Harvey Nichols. It ...  Read the complete review

Harrods is a major department store situated in Knightsbridge, London. I was very excited to visit Harrods for the very first time. I'd heard so much about it and couldn't wait to explore the store. It seemed liked the ultimate shoppers dream. After getting off at Knightsbridge underground station, it was a short walk to Harrods. I found that there were various exits/entrances all around the store to ease the flow of people traffic. The first thing I noticed about Harrods before I stepped foot inside was how big and grand it looked. As I approached one of the entrances, I suddenly saw a display/stand just outside. It was the protests for ...  Read the complete review

Harrods department store is located on Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London. Just a few minutes walk from Knightsbridge tube station it is well worth a visit if you are in London. It features a food hall, men & womens clothes, toys & even a pet shop! When you arrive at the shop, you notice that its actually huge! Covering seven floors and a staggering 4.5acres, you could easily spend a good few hours in the store. As you walk through the entrance, there are doormen that open and close the door as you approach. I'd recommend you pick up a map of the store, there is that much to see it's easy to miss something. One section that ...  Read the complete review
