Advantages: a beautiful building

Disadvantages: everything is too expensive unless your super-rich

Harrods is definitely a must visit when in the Knightsbridge area of London. It is a beautiful building both inside and out. However, all the items in Harrods are for the super-rich. There is always the souvenir department where you can pick up a pen at a more reasonable price. Harrods has some amazing garments in the store and even if you have no intention of buying them it is still fun to look around at some of the unique pieces. There is an amazing foodhall in Harrods with a vast range of foods. my favourite being the chocolatiers section which, even though they are highly priced, sells the most magnificent chocolates, perfect for a special present for someone. Even though it is one of the most expensive department stores I would still recommend a visit just to be able to say you've been to Harrods. Make sure you take a trip to the foodhall and the souvenir department to pick up a reminder of our visit.
