Advantages: Easy to order, Delivered to right address even though in the middle of nowhere , Nice Stockings

Disadvantages: Not packaged very attractively, Expensive

Never having visited Harrods myself I simply new of it as a very expensive department store that most people go into to but a pencil or a mug with the name on it just so they can say they've been!! Consequently my opinion was that it was a tourist attraction and not a shop at all! However I have recently acquired a friend who works in Angola and so cannot shop in the normal manner (trailing through endless shops and still not finding the required item)he therefore uses the internet quite often to send pressies and cards. On one occasion I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of one of these pressies, after repeated jokes about the 'magic of hold up stockings' he sent me some form Harrods no less!!
Black Dior stockings, very nice although they ladder no less then those from BHS (thats another story) There were half a dozen pairs in all and although his sister, (who happens to be my neighbour) had removed all the incrimminating evidence from the outer packaging on opening the box and the bag inside the box I found that printed very largely and obviously on each indivual packet was the price £19.95.
I feel that although it is always nice to receive an obviously expensive gift, knowing the actual price sort of spoils the illusion a little!!
