Advantages: Cheap, variety of things for sale.

Disadvantages: Some of the bits are a bit dated.

I love TJ Hughes I didn't no they existed till about a year ago when we came across it when we were driving round Newport. This shop is great the stuff in it so cheap. When we went there my husband brought a pair of jeans for 4pound that works out cheaper then Primark, they also sell ladies clothes, night wear, underwear and children's clothes. They don't just sell clothes though they also sell toys (even branded ones like Dora), household things like microwaves plates and cutlery etc, jewellery, bedding, curtains and hair products. But the main things I like in there is there make up and fragrances and there so cheap. At the moment you can buy two of there celebrity perfumes like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, for both of them it is 15pound what a bargain. I've notice that they also sell a lot of Elizabeth Arden perfume and makeup, I've heard that in normal high street shops it can be quite expensive, and that TJ Hughes is one of the cheapest places to buy it. I also like there Sunkissed make up range I haven't really seen it being sold anywhere else last year I got 2 big make up sets for 10 pound and the makeup was great quality.

The fragrance counter is separate from the main checkout which is good as quite often when I go in there, there are large queues so this cuts the queuing out.

There are not many negative things I can say about TJ Hughes except they don't really change the stock that often and some of the clothes are a bit dated they could put some more trendy bits in there. But I've always found everyone in there happy to help and polite.

Summary: Overall I love shopping in TJ Hughes and will be doing some of my Christmas shopping there.
