great shopping experience (The Mill Batley)

i only live walking distance from The Mill Batley and frequently shop there since it opened. it actually has a really good range of shops including suits you, corroll, book depot and many more. its a really good day out and open seven days a week.
i mainly shop at corroll, great for household things like duvet sets, kitchen utensils, towel sets and also decorative items. The other shop i go to regularly is book depot. it has a brilliant range of book and videos at a really competitive prices. they also sell painting items and craft and card games for children.
If you want to make a day of it, there are some really good tea shops selling various cakes and sandwiches with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I normally go to the one above the Manna shop, the atmosphere is really nice and the staff are really welcomg too. An added extra is that there is also a creche service during the weekdays at a small cost.

Summary: worth a day out
