I like to visit Batley Mills intermittently.
Main draw is the lovely coffee shop on the first floor (one level up on the escalator). Delicious coffees, try their hot chocolate and foods such as field mushroom and goats cheese brushettas with balsamic glaze, as well as other tasty treats. The busy staff at this cafe are always pleasant and accomodating.
As a younger person though mainly shop at Planet / Precis Petite and the Hideskin / tula handbag shops. Bought some lovely things over the years from Batley Mills. For returns, staff have done so without quibble.
Parking really convenient too. Aliah :)

I don't take clothes back often only, when damaged. It's pretty unreasonable to put a customer through the hassle of taking clothes back and then feel like they are committing a crime for doing so.

As its name suggests, this used to be a mill, but has now been revamped and is apparently one of the largest retail mills in the UK. The area around Batley was once a thriving ...
