... lovely, light and easily absorbed when used with a full regime of dermalogica cleansers and toners and scrubs. When I first bought this i used it along side my old cleansers and found it left my skin feeling a little sticky (eww) and shiny. However once I started using it after special cleansing gel and antioxidant hydramist i found it absorbed fast and left a hyrdated yet matte finish - perfect as a make up base as another reviewer commented and great as a lightweight night moisturiser. Premium Review Dermalogica Active Moist: dermalogica active moist lotion (482 words)
by - written on 30/09/09 (Very useful, 59 readings)
Rating:

dermalogica active moist is recommended for skin prone to oiliness and is a lightweight lotion which provides daily moisture protection to combat surface dehydration. It contains silk amino acids, and natural botanicals of lemon, cucumber and burdock with no artificial colour or fragrance. It comes in a slim white tube - i do hate pot moisturisers they seem so unhygienic so this was great in that respect and it really lasts for ages despite the steep prices dermalogica products do work out to be quite economical over a long period. Always get your skin mapped by a dermalogica professional before purchasing to avoid all that trial and error when you start using a new ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Actively Moisturise Yourself (283 words)
by - written on 23/05/09 (Very useful, 72 readings)
Rating:

Active Moist is one of Dermalogica's most popular products and I think it is deserving of its popularity. This moisturiser is very light and when applied to the skin is absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy sheen. I have been using this cream for several months now alongside the cleanser and toner and have found my skin is much clearer. This may be because this moisturiser is not greasy and so when I put make up on after it does not keep the grease in. Instead the make up stays put all day and I use much less. As I have quite dry skin, I will occasionally use a thicker cream at night, but Active Moist is perfect as a day cream. The moisturiser is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dermalogica Active Moist: Actively Moisturising... (544 words)

Rating:

Dermalogica Active Moist looks pretty much like any other moisturiser on the market... it's a white and it's a cream... however - this moisturiser is a little bit different to most. Active Moist ensures that your skin stays moisturised all day by creating an invisible barrier on your skin, so the moisture is locked in. Added to that, it's oil free (so fine to use if you have oily skin) and fragrance-free (so suitable for most sensitive skins too). On reading that the moisturiser created a barrier on your skin to keep it moisturised all day, I imagined that on using it I'd experience greasy feeling skin for the rest of the day - but I was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A good all round moisturiser (280 words)
by - written on 20/02/09 (Very useful, 97 readings)
Rating:

I used to be a fan of the Dermalogica range before discovering Lab Series, which I think has the edge. As someone with neither oily nor dry skin, I need a moisturiser which can be used everyday and keeps skin in good condition. What is this product: This is a very lightweight, oil-free moisturizer designed to combat against moisture loss in the face. It contains extracts of Burdock, Sage and Cucumber to calm and hydrate the skin. I bought a 50ml tube and it cost me about £20, though prices vary if you shop around online. Packaging: Comes in a small smart white plastic tube with a screw-top lid. How to ...  Read the complete review
