This is a face mask designed for oily or combination skin, which is intended to balance it out and prevent excess oil production. It has a whole host of natural ingredients that are designed to help with this. think cooling menthol, antiseptic tea tree oil, green tea and liquorice that help reduce inflammation. All of dermalogica's products are the same in the respect that they use natural extracts and ingredients to create a product that is naturally effective. Having said that this product is really on the pricey side of face masks, being around £20 for 75ml, so I think you would really have to have problem skin to think the investment worthwhile. Some masks that are targeted for the oilier skin type can be sometimes quite drying and irritating on the skin. They may technically dry the skin out but that's not what balancing the skin and targeting the spots is all about. ( You don't want to be pushing the skin's oil production into producing any more than normal, which tends to happen when you strip your skin of its oils. ) This mask doesn't do that, it's a skin exfoliator and soother that attacks spot forming bacteria on the skin. *Who is this for ? * If you have normal to dry skin, you don't need this and you won't like it.
