Being trained in Dermalogica as a therapist I do know quite alot about this product. Persoanlly it is one of my favourites and I couldn't be without it!

Daily Microfoliant is not a standard exfoliant its a microfoliant so can be used on sensitive skin and can be used everyday. If you have a thicker more coarse skin this wont be enough on its own and you will need to use a more harsh exfoliant once a week to keep on top of things.

This product comes in powder form made from rice. You need to mix half a teaspoon of powder with plenty of water to get a really foamy consistency. If you can still feel the granules you need to add more water, it is the foam that does the work not the granules! People that say to use this as a paste are clearly mistaken and have obviously not been shown how to use the product correctly by their therapist. This product was not designed to work like a granular exfoliant.

The foam works on the very top layer of skin cells that are ready to be shed (this is called desquamation) it leaves your skin looking brighter (hence why its used as part of the skin brightening system) and feeling smoother, it is so delicate that it can even be used around the eye area however do be very careful when doing this.

I would recommend this product to anyone exept those with acne that are on prescribed medication such as roaccutane as you cannot use any type of exfoliation. It really is an asset to your routine.
