Advantages: Brightening, leaves the skin looking healthy and glowy.

Disadvantages: Low SPF and it needs to be used alone for it's full effects.

*Who is it for ? *

This has two obvious effects on the skin.

1) It leaves a pretty mother-of-pearl like sheen on the skin which acts has an immediate brightening effect on the skin ( so if you want a transparent and/or matt effect then don't buy, it you won't like it )

2) It's also an SPF cream. However, it's only SPF15 and so I wouldn't recommend this if you like to exfoliate or use a daily exfoliating product on the skin because in my opinion the SPF is not high enough in this instance. Also, since the active ingredients are CHEMICAL sunblocks then this product MUST be applied first so it can react with your skincells prior to sun exposure. Also, because of the brightening effects of this product you would lose the full effect of these ingredients if you were to add more skincare products afterwards. So in an ideal world this product would be used first and alone. Therefore, those drier skin-types may not like to use this product as it may not be hydrating and moisturing enough to be used alone.

However, I would recommend this product to teenagers and anyone under 35 ( with perhaps slight pigmentation issues ) who do not have a daily exfoliating skincare routine, but for the autumn/winter months ONLY. For Spring/Summer months I would ALWAYS recommend something with a higher SPF for all ages/skin types.

*How it works*:

Day Bright is a tri-active system that brightens, illuminates and protects the skin throughout the day (remember however, that it only provides an SPF of 15). The eleven active botanical brighteners helps balance slight uneven pigmentation while optical illuminators manipulate light and shadows to create the luminosity associated with healthy skin. This is what gives the brightening and mother-of-pearl sheen as described earlier.

It also contains the likes of Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, which acts as a mild astringent effect and is therefore particularly suitable for oilier skin types.

*How to use*:

After cleansing/toning, squeeze a small amount onto fingertips and apply to clean dry face.

Summary: For those with younger skin types or those who do not need to focus on general anti-aging issues.
