Advantages: feels nice and leaves your skin really clean

I first bought this product about four years ago when it was recommended to me by a friend as I was suffering from breakouts. It cost 16 pounds at the time off a discount website. I bought the 250ml container which lasted well over 6 months using it twice a day.

Although expensive, dermalogica products are really good; they leave my face feeling clean and soft.

Dermal clay cleanser is described as a skin perfecting formula designed to provide deep cleansing to oily congested skins. It contains kaolin, green clays, ivy, lemon, cucumber, sage and menthol. These ingredients are combined to provide deep cleaning whilst soothing and refreshing the skin. Dermalogica products are all non pore blocking and do not contain artificial fragrance or colour.

I find that this product balances my skin and does leave it refreshed although a little dry due to the clays so a good mosituriser is needed. I apply it in the shower to my wet face and when rubbed in it seems to tingle on your skin which is really refreshing especially first thing in the morning!

After using it for about two weeks it did seem to calm my skin down, although it did not really help the more inflamed acne I had on my chin area.

This can also be used as a face mask because of the clays; just leave it on for about 10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

Summary: Worth buying!
