I paid just under £20 for a three pack of this Dermalogica Ultimate Buffing Cloth, individually they retail for about £11.00 so I was getting a good price. You can wash these in a cold delicate cycle in the washing machine but over time they do lose their effectiveness after a few washes and as such buying a three pack made sense. It also means that I can have a cloth in my gym bag to use in the shower as well as at home as they are each in a separate zip lock bag. Each one is a different colour and my pack has a blue, red and yellow one so you can keep track of each one and how much use it has had.

The marketing blurb claims that these are based upon Japanese spa treatments and the buffing cloth is designed to help remove dead and rough skin from your body as it acts as an exfoliator. I simply apply some of my normal body wash and then massage it into my skin using the cloth, certainly I have noticed a difference in areas such as my elbows and also my legs. The cloth is abrasive however it is not excessively harsh or uncomfortable to use. There was almost a clinical smell to it when I first started using it but that smell does not last very long after it has been used and then left to dry.

The cloth is about the size of a standard bath flannel. After use my skin certainly does feel quite invigorated and nice and smooth, the only visible difference I have noticed is on my elbows and the base of my feet. I have been rotating the three cloths over a five month period and they are all still in really good condition and as effective as the first day that I bought them which is really impressive and certainly justifies the price. They are gentle on my skin but also effective at the same time and you are not finding bits of exfoliator on your skin after you have got out of the shower which is another plus point.

I would certainly recommend this product and the three pack is a worth while extra expenditure so that you will always have one available to use.
