Dermamlogica is a name I have learned to trust over the years as I have used so many of their range and found every one to be of the highest quality and depending on the product in question the results vary from good to excellent. As with all Dermalogica products only the best quality botanical (plant based) ingredients are used, this of course means that they are all natural, something that Dermalogica pride themselves on.

This product is their EXTRA FIRMNG BOOSTER. This is a highly concentrated formula that results in "superior results in the texture of the skin". In the hope of achieving these results I fist of all cleansed my face using a Dermalogica cleanser this however isn't necessary, just use any gentle cleanser as the Dermalogica one can be a bit on the expensive side. I then apply some of the light fresh smelling serum to my fingertips and apply to my face. I then follow the instructions by lightly massaging into my face and neck.

This product can also be mixed in the palm of your hand with your every day moisturiser and then applied as you normally would, this can be a good time saving trick in the mornings for example when most people don't have the time for a full routine. I did notice a lovely plump feeling to my skin using this serum alone, I don't mix this with a moisturiser. This product also has high levels of antioxidants, these just like the food you eat that are high in antioxidants as they nourish your body from the inside this all natural beauty product nourishes the skin from the outside in. These also help protect and combat against premature ageing. The main thing I noticed was the firming effect. This happened within minutes of using the product, this is achieved with out that horrible tightening effect that can happen with soap based products. It also highly moisturises the skin resulting in that plump effect.

There is no greasy residue, so you get the moisture without the dreaded shiny face. The end result is very noticeably improved skin texture and appearance within just one week of use.

I was so impressed with this product I recommended it to my friends mother (she's in her late fifties and shall remain nameless as she wouldn't be too happy that I just hinted at her age) she experienced even better results than I did. She found the firming effect to be great at smoothing out even heavy wrinkles around the sides of her mouth, and said it made the fine lines around her eyes almost disappear.
