My skin is oily but prone to dry skin on my forehead and nose. This can lead to me having flaky skin in that area which looks awful when I apply make up and so I need to exfoliate my skin. My skin has the tendency to be sensitive so I though I would dry a more gentle product. I have always liked the Dermalogica products and so I purchased the Lush Gentle Cream Exfoliant. What does the product do? The product promises to improve the texture of the skin using a chemical exfoliant instead of an abrasive one. The product comes in the form of a mask and removes those dull and dead skin cells cells to reveal the healthy and radiant ones underneath. It also ... Read the complete review

Here is part three of my Dermalogica Skin Care Kit review of the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant. The size I got in my kit was a tiny 10ml sample but was more than enough for 4 applications as a little does go along way. I must have tried every facial scrub out there to help eliminate my acne scaring and to try and make my skin feel smoother. I always tend to find any exfoliaters that have the word "gentle" in them just don't have enough scrub in them to make any significant difference but this is where this product comes in. A full sized tube of this exfoliater is 75ml and is around the £25 mark but as with everything it really is best to shop ... Read the complete review

The Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant is a beauty miracle that gives stunning results in 10 minutes! I first bought this when I had been looking into getting a chemical peel but nerves had got the better of me, so I looked to find an alternative that obviously wouldn't be as strong but could get similar effects. Thats when I found this. I am someone who since early teens has suffered from oily skin, a rather uneven skin tone as well as mild acne. I was despairing at the state of my skin when I seemed to spending a fortune on different products but when I found Dermalogica, everything changed! The range of daily products from Dermalogica are fantastic and ... Read the complete review

I don't want to imagine what my skin would look like if I wasn't using this. I've got combination skin, oily t-zone with often dry cheeks, prone to breakouts and blackheads and generally annoyingly sensitive to everything (can't use dpt store moisturizers, for instance, due to the cheap mineral oils that block my pores, but only 100% natural organic ones). This is one of the few products I can put on my skin without problems. The main active ingredients in the product are alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs): lactic acid and salicylic acid, to be exact. Lactic acid is a very gently exfoliating acid, and salicylic acid is especially good for skin prone to breakouts as ... Read the complete review

I bought this along with the Dermologica sensitized range after it was recommended to me by my beautiician as suitable for sensitive skin. At first I was very sceptical as I never tried an exfoliant without the "microbeads" and "scrubs". But this is a cream exfoliant and chemicals in the cream break down the "dirt" on the face and cleans the pores. Price: It is quite expensive - my 30ml tube cost me about £30 from the salon but I suspect that's just the hiked up price of the salon. Texture: It is velvety and smooths onto the skin easily. Although, I found you have to put on quite a bit to cover the ... Read the complete review
