Advantages: Can't think of any!

Disadvantages: Too expensive, no noticeable changes and stings!

I bought this along with the Dermologica sensitized range after it was recommended to me by my beautiician as suitable for sensitive skin. At first I was very sceptical as I never tried an exfoliant without the "microbeads" and "scrubs". But this is a cream exfoliant and chemicals in the cream break down the "dirt" on the face and cleans the pores.

Price:
It is quite expensive - my 30ml tube cost me about £30 from the salon but I suspect that's just the hiked up price of the salon.

Texture:
It is velvety and smooths onto the skin easily. Although, I found you have to put on quite a bit to cover the surface area of the face.

Smell:
I can't get over the clay smell of this exfoliant - it's not highly unpleasant but it doesn't make me want to exfoliate more than my essential 2 times a week. Worst you have to leave the exfoliant on for at least 10 minutes whilst the chemicals do their stuff and the smell does get up your nose. One thing I must mention is the slight stinging (and the more unbearable stinging if you get this stuff near your eyes). Just be careful when using this.

Overall, an ok product - I found I still had blackheads on my nose which other scrub exfoliants usually get rid off. I'm just going through the motions because I've spent so much money on it but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this.

Summary: Not worth it - a shame, because the other Dermologica products are fantastic!
