I suffer with moderate adult acne on my chin and have done so for about 3 years. I have just about tried everything and after hearing such great things about this product decided to splash out with high hopes. You put this product on before bed as needed and it is supposed to clear existing spots and help new ones appearing. I used this every night for 2 weeks, after one use, my spots came out worse than ever. The existing ones got larger and harder. Plus loads of new ones appeared. I normally have 3 large spots on my chin but since using this product I have about 10 large hard itchy and painful spots. Plus I have loads of little ones. My chin and jawline ... I have combination skin that is prone to regular, fairly severe breakouts. I get them mostly around the lower part of my face, usually on my chin and cheeks, although the occasional evil can quite literally rear it's ugly head on my nose and forehead too. I have tried so many different things available for the treatment of acne, ranging from glycolic peels, to laser therapy, to prescription treatments (both topical and oral) to the majority of the over the counter remedies. I recently got to know the Dermalogica range and have been very impressed by the results I've achieved. This product comes in a squeezy plastic bottle with a nozzle that dispenses the ... I have combination skin and I'm probe to break-outs. However, I'm lucky in that I've never suffered from major hormonal acne and so I am only basing my results with this product on MY skin. I would say that if you wanted to tackle more serious issues of acne than the odd break out, that you seek medical advice and a good beautician who will prescribe the correct products for your needs. This product in my opinion therefore works on moderate spot issues. The product contains Salicylic Acid and Vitamin A which are both great for skincell renewal and will help with keeping your pores clearer. It also contains ingredients such as Palmarosa which is a great ... Read the complete review

>>Me and My Skin<< I've never had serious problems with my skin apart from the time when I reacted badly to the medication I was on and broke out in acne. Normally my skin behaves itself quite well but these winter months do take their toll on my complexion. This means it is difficult for me to know what sort of products to buy. Sometimes my skin will be dry and at other times I have combination skin. This is where the T-Zone (forehead, nose and chin) become oily and can break out in spots whereas the rest of the face is normal or dry. Last year I went to a skin-care clinic and received a sample of Dermalogica's Medicated Clearing ... Read the complete review

I bought this with high hopes- having heard good things about Dermalogica- free from certain chemicals, choice of dermatologists etc. I made a special trip to Selfridges in London to buy it as it is not readily available in high street stores. However i found that after using the gel for a few days i did not notice a diffrence. I used it as instructed and in conjuction with the Dermalogica toner. I have to agree with another reviewer that the gel seemed to cause more spots than less. I did follow the course until i ran out and i did not notice any difference in my face. In fact i noticed that my skin was much drier than normal- it felt uncomfortable actually. ... Read the complete review
