Advantages: Creamy rich formula, easy application

Disadvantages: Price- as with all dermalogica products often high

This treatment is a god send for hands, its rich and luxurious formula is both moisturising and contains nothing artificial.

I'm a masive dermalogica fan and I was thrilled to try out some of their hand cream being that in the past all I had tried out were facial and body treatments. This hand cream is specificaly for dry and rough skin on the hands but it also helps to promote healthy nails, keeping them moisturised so as to prevent splitting etc.

The cream itself is a thick creamy white colour and has a pleasant fragrance to it without being overpowering. I have noticed in the ingredients as i have the bottle to hand , that grapefruit and rosa centifolia flower are used so this may be a mild scent of these. As mentioned earlier the cream is also fairly thick so a little goes along way!

dermalogica also claim this product to be non greasy which i do agree to be true. After application the hands feel moisturised rather than feeling like a layer has been left on them as with some hand creams. The cream sinks into the skin easily.

Dermalogica recommend that the cream is used AT LEAST once a day, however in my line of work i am forever washing my hands so i find im popping it on every five minutes. I keep a 15ml tube in my pocket at work, i find this size great, fits in any pocket or handbag.

It can be seen to be expensive compared to some other hand creams. I usually buy mine on the net for around £13 for a 75ml large tube/bottle. However it does last for ages if you dont go overboard and slather your hands in it, which to be quite frank you do not need to do with such a rich thick cream!

this product is definitely an investment in the skin on your hands!

Summary: A reassuringly expensive product :)
