I am certainly not well versed in skincare, having moderate to severe eczema I tend to use only the plainest products which I can be reasonably confident will not cause me to react to them. Ordinarily I will not pay over the odds for 'special' brands, as research has proved over the years that they do no better a job than their less expensive counterparts. However, in January I underwent cataract surgery with all the pulling and prodding that entails. Ladies of a certain age will understand me when I say prolonged manipulation of the lower eyelid is not ideal; my surgery, having left me with better eyesight, also left me with a less desirable side effect - ... Last year I started to notice some fine lines and crepeyness around my under eye area. I therefore decided to start using an eye cream more regularly. I didn't notice any improvement with the cream I was using so when I was given Dermalogica's Multivitamin Power Firm for my birthday I was really keen to give it a go. According to the media this product is a favourite of supermodels before they go on the catwalk and apparently is also favoured by Victoria Beckham. The product comes in a simple silver tube with a white screw on lid and a standard size (15ml) has an RRP of £29. The tube has the Dermalogica logo written down the side. It also has the 'Age Smart' ... Read the complete review

I have previously reviewed an under eye cream by Dermalogica. So why review another? Well because they do two completely different things and so give two completely different results. The last one had an SPF to prevent premature ageing of the skin, while this one actually removes the unwanted signs of ageing in this area. Packaging wise this features my favorite style of packaging that Dermalogica do. It's the silver metallic style tubing with it's recognisable headline print in heavy black. This tube is the 15ml size. This is part of Dermalogica's Age Smart range. This line of products is aimed pretty much at everyone as it treats visible ... Read the complete review

Dermologica Multivitamin power firm is a sort of gel/ointment product made for "the smart management and treatment of skin aging". It has been made specifically with the eye area in mind and claims to be a firming agent that combats visible lines around the eye. It contains vitamin A and antioxidant vitamins C and E to "improve elasticity and smoothnes while scavenging free radicals" The product is made so that it does not contain any artificial fragrance or colour. The product has a consistency similar to savlon - sort of an ointment consistency that is colourless and cloudy but not creamy. It comes in a small silver tube and ... Read the complete review

I feel in love with this product after having it used on me at a facial bought for me and the lasting feeling it gave afterwards. I had never heard of Dermalogica before but everything at the saloon was made by them and although I tried some of the other products afterwards this is the only one I have stuck with. It comes in a tiny tube that folds up like a toothpaste tube but is made of metal with a plastic cap. It has the normal things in it that are suppose to be good for your skin like vitamin A, C and E and seaweed extract but also silicones which i would guess is what gives it that lovely texture. It is a slightly creamy coloured ... Read the complete review
