Advantages: plumps and firms, reduces blackheads, makes skin happy
Disadvantages: a bit expensive
I have to say it's been a heck of a long time since I've been impressed by a product and this one really hit home. What an incredible skin treat!!! A bit of background first, I have combination, slightly acne prone skin and have been scouring the world for products that will one day give me the peachy happy skin that all the best Disney characters have. I had hit and miss luck with a lot of different products. Dermalogica is a salon range (though you can buy it over the internet) that is meant to be free from all sorts of nasties and very good for sensitive skin. Although I don't have particularly sensitive skin I did hear very good things about their products from others on www.handbag.com (a nice bunch of folk). The multivitamin mask is meant to be filled with all sorts of wonderful things for your skin. I quote from their website (www.dermalogica.com): Super-concentrated antioxidant vitamins and botanicals dramatically reduce the inflammation and redness associated with stressed, prematurely-aging skin. Antioxidant Vitamins A and C help promote collagen and elastin production for increased suppleness. All skin conditions. I was given a free sample of it to try when I bought a few dermalogica products a couple of weeks ago and tried it a couple of days after Xmas. It's a very creamy type of mask and rather than drying hard, it just seems to harden a bit. It's a bit like if you covered your skin in a thick layer of cream. It smells pleasantly of oranges and didn't burn or tighten my skin while it was on. You hang about for 10 or 15 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Be prepared to be amazed!!! My face was happier than it's been in quite a long time. Skin was all perky and plump (and I'm only in my twenties!), redness ha a subsided considerably, pores were smaller and blackheads were either gone or on extended holiday. Incredible!! I've actually be
en convinced enough to lay out the cash and buy a full size container of the stuff, which considering it's just after Christmas and I'm not exactly flush should be saying a lot. I would seriously suggest to anyone whose skin is suffering post holiday period to head down to their local Dermalogica salon and plead for a free sample. I'm sure you'll be delighted. You can check out other Dermalogica things on www.dermalogica.com and find dermalogica salons near you. Or, buy them off the internet at www.jasonshankey.co.uk or http://www.townadseasymart.co.uk/acatalog/Townads_ Easymart_Courtyard_Health___Beau ty_21.html It costs £20.79 but some places sell trial tubes for 7£. A little also goes a very long way.

- 01/07/02 Sounds like the stuff of miracles and definitely worth trying for anyone with problem skin. It's certainly very difficult to find appropriate products for combination skin.
Sorry this is off-topic, but thought I should warn you that nawar10 seems to be indulging in a little tactical rating of the Air Canada reviews. They're giving out NUs left, right and centre, having written their own review in the same category. |
