I decided to take the plunge and book a facial at my local beauty salon. As I was talking with the beautician she suggested that I tried Dermalogica for my skin type (oily and spot prone). I was given two sample sachets of this treatment, which resulted in me buying the full sized version online.

This treatment gel is a transparent gel which is easy to apply and soaks into the skin well without any residue. The gel is pleasant to use and it doesn't have a strong or overpowering smell to it. You use the gel overnight and wash it off in the morning. The gel is easy to wash off and it doesn't react with the skin in any way. I would suggest using this gel if you suffer from sensitive skin as it is really gentle. The gel absorbs excess oil on the surface of the skin and helps combat redness and irritation. It feels really calming on my skin and since using the gel my skin doesn't itch half as much.

As for spots, this gel really works! It works better than Quinoderm and Freederm. It may be more expensive but it works and it's better for your skin as it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals. I would recommend this gel as it has really worked for me. I don't get as many spots now (I would say that they have reduced by 80%) and it doesn't harm my skin.

A great gel treatment. Well worth the money.
