WHAT IT IS?

A lightweight daily moisturiser with SPF30.

IS IT ANY GOOD?

I used a full 50ml bottle and have not replaced it as I don't think it is a very nice product to use and as a moisturiser it is not effective even on my normal skin.

It is quite lightweight to use as it's a soft lotion in consistency but that doesn't necessarily make it light to use, it's awfully contradictory because this light lotion feels very heavy on my skin. It never quite absorbs all the way so whenever I use it I am conscious of a filmy sensation on my skin for at least an hour after application. For this same reason it's not a good base for wearing when you need to apply foundation quickly, such as in the mornings before starting the school run.

I will use it on the mornings when my husband takes our children to school as I work for myself and tend not to schedule appointments before 11am, this will give the moisturiser time to sink in as much as possible although even after this time I sometimes have to scrub my face with the towel before applying my make up. I do not think my foundation looks as smooth as when I use a different moisturiser, it also does not moisturise very well and I have found I have to up the intensity of my night cream when I use this Dermalogica moisturiser in the morning.

I have confidence in the SPF of this moisturiser and used it on plenty of days through the summer with no reddening of the skin on my face, I'm fair so the sun has a fast effect on my skin if I use no SPF products on very sunny days but I remained pale and interesting while using this moisturiser.
