I first came into contact with the Skin Prep Scrub by Dermalogica because I had a travel sized bottle in my Dermalogica Oily Skin Kit. This product is basically an exfoliant for the face that is designed to leave your skin polished and smooth. It has been created specifically for those who skin produces too much oil and it contains natural ingredients. How does it work? It contains tiny particles of Com Cob Meal which removes dead and dull skin from the face and reveals the healthy and radiant skin cells that are hiding underneath. The substance also draw impurities out of the skin, enable moisture to be absorbed more easily and it leaves your skin ... Read the complete review

have been using this product three times a week for about 18 months now, on the recommendation of my beautician. My skin has always been pretty good overall and I've never been prone to outbreaks of spots or dry/oily patches. I do have some open pores on my nose and chin areas, however, which can attract dirt and debris. I wanted something that would keep them clear, but not so harsh that it would actually 'drag' my skin around and make the problem worse. So, Jo recommended the Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub. When she told me the price of £20.00 I was a bit reluctant to part with that much cash for a scrub! But I've known her for about ten years and I trust her, so I ... Read the complete review

Therefore if you have very oily skin ( I would recommend AHA based products ) or very sensitive skin ( I would recommend a very gentle natural exfoliator such as Elemis papaya enzyme peel. ) If you really do enjoy the results of a physical exfoliator then both Gatineau and Liz Earle do very gentle and effective versions. This Dermalogica skin prep is NOT at all abrasive, but there are more gentle versions of physical exfoliators out there for skin types that need a bit of extra tlc. However, if you REALLY love Dermalogica, for a more gentle version of this scrub you can mix a little with your .. Read the complete review

I quite enjoy the Dermalogica range, I have used their clay face wash on and off for a couple of years, interchanging it with other brands. I must admit that I do find their products way too expensive and this is the offputting part for me, as I am on a really tight budget at the moment. What is this? A skin prep scrub is a bit like a cleanser, only more intense. You can use it every day, though perhaps a handful of times a week would be effective. The scrub is designed to exfoliate the skin deep down, removing all that nasty outer layer and shedding dead skin skins. This will help reveal brighter and younger skin and leave the face looking more ... Read the complete review

Facial scrubs aren't usually part of my skincare routine as I've never found them to have much of a positive effect on my skin. I probably wouldn't have used this one if it hadn't been a free sample sent by a relative in the US. ***The Scrub*** It looks pretty much the same as any other facial scrub, although the granules feel a lot harsher on the skin than their appearance would suggest. I found that this irritated my skin, which rather defeated the whole idea of the scrub helping to improve it! ***The Results*** As I have already mentioned, the scrub started to irritate my skin after using it a handful of times and I quickly noticed ...
