Advantages: Seemed to be doing a good job of clearing up existing spots
Disadvantages: Had to stop using it because it irritated parts of my combination skin, pricey
Facial scrubs aren't usually part of my skincare routine as I've never found them to have much of a positive effect on my skin. I probably wouldn't have used this one if it hadn't been a free sample sent by a relative in the US.
***The Scrub***
It looks pretty much the same as any other facial scrub, although the granules feel a lot harsher on the skin than their appearance would suggest. I found that this irritated my skin, which rather defeated the whole idea of the scrub helping to improve it!
***The Results***
As I have already mentioned, the scrub started to irritate my skin after using it a handful of times and I quickly noticed that my skin was starting to look a little bit sore in the more sensitive areas. This was rather disappointing as I did feel that the scrub was actually having some positive effect on the oilier areas of my combination skin and seemed to be starting to clear up existing spots and blemishes. Due to the slight irritation, I stopped using the scrub at this point, but it would probably suit people with less sensitive skin absolutely fine, especially if your skin is oily all over. I am giving it three stars on the whole rather than four for the fact that it irritated the m ore sensitive parts of my face.
***The Price***
As with Dermalogica products in general, this isn't exactly the cheapest facial scrub on the market. Having looked around on a few sites, the best deal I found was still £21.75 from Amazon.
Summary: Would probably be great for those with less sensitive skin than me
