Advantages: quick and easy to use

Disadvantages: makes spotty skin worse

Dermologica as a brand is very expensive so you expect good things to happen from their products! The Dermalogica skin prep scrub has a creamy feel to it with lots of little bits of corn cob meal in it. It does not have a nasty smell, nor is it over perfumed which can irritate sensitive skin. It also lasts quite a long time as you don't need much of it and also if you stick to using it two or three times per week.
The downside for me was that the scrub is said to be suitable for all skin types but I found that if I was having a spotty day, the scrub would just rip the tops of the spots off leaving them feeling sore and exposed to infection, so would not advise spotty people to use this! It also made the sensitive areas of my skin quite dry after use. I also did not see any improvement on black heads. My advice would be to use Dermalogica's exfoliating cream if you have spot prone or sesitive skin, it takes longer as it is more like a mask but it does not contain anything that will scrub the skin.

Summary: not for sensitive skin.
