Skin Smoothing Cream, sounds good doesn't it? Then add in the fact that it's a skin smoothing cream by the world renowned dermatologists at Dermalogica and it sounds even better. That's what I thought when my good friend gave me an unusual looking clear jar containing this cream. The reason it was in this jar and not the actual packaging was because this was a tester jar from her work ( she's a dermatologist and professional beautician ) I must say I was not impressed, I have become used to receiving full sized products and at the very least tester size products, this just wasn't up to scratch ( I'm being sarcastic by the way ) I of course was grateful ... Dermalogica is a company well renowned for its skincare products, but the brand's high prices make buying products from the range a rare event for most people. A few years ago I bought a travel skincare kit, which included a cleanser, toner and this Skin Smoothing Cream, amongst a couple of other things. I've never had problem skin, fortunately, but I do find that a good moisturiser massively improves the appearance of my face and is therefore worth the purchase if I can afford it. I have used this moisturiser a couple of times over the years and, since I love it so much, am trying to find away to justify a further purchase. == Skin Smoothing Cream ... Read the complete review

To begin, just a little bit of background on Dermalogica and how/why I started buying their products. Please note this information is also on my review of Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant and Ultra Calming Cleanser: **Dermalogica is a company that was founded in 1986 by skin therapist Jane Wurwand, with the belief that everyone's skin is different and should be treated accordingly. The website www.dermalogica.com states that the products do not contain 'cheap chemicals like Mineral Oil, Lanolin, S.D. Alcohol, artificial fragrances and colours'. I was always reluctant to buy Dermalogica products because of the price, however a beauty therapist ... Read the complete review

Skin Smoothing Cream is a product that has been created by Dermalogica for skin that is drying or prematurely aging. I have combination skin that is very oily in areas but dry on my forehead and nose. Although my normal moisturiser works well on controlling the oiliness of my skin, it doesn't seem to be moisturising enough on my forehead or nose and so I get dry, flaky skin there that makes my make up look bad. This product seemed to be the answer to this problem and so I purchased it. The product has been designed to hydrate and smooth out the skin. As it is an antioxidant, it also removes skin aging toxins, allowing your complexion to remain more youthful ... Read the complete review

This is the second part of my reviews on the products that were included in my Dermalogica Normal/Dry Skin kit that I recieved as a gift around a year ago for around the £18 mark. The product I received in the kit was a sample size of 22ml but the full size product to buy is a 100ml bottle and sells for around a pricey £20. The product comes in a regular tube with a screw capped lid and looks no different to any other of the Dermalogica products. Its described as a medium weight cream that helps to improve your skins texture while moisturising and hydrating your skin. I was a little worried after I had read it was a medium weight cream as I thought it would be ... Read the complete review
