Advantages: Absorbs quickly, contains natural extracts

Disadvantages: A bit expensive

Last year I decided to splash out on a facial and the beautician used Dermalogica skin care products. I'd never used them before but was really pleased with the results, so I bought some. Dermologica trained specialists do a full skin analysis and only recommend the products which most suit your skin type.

In the psat I have had problems with moisturisers. They often seemed to take forever to absorb and didn't feel nice. However Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream feels very different. It absorbs very quickly and leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth. I have found in the past that I have got quite spotty from some moisturisers - but not this one.

It is fragrence free and contains natural extracts, including mallow, cucumber and arnica, and aloe gel to nourish your skin. After using this I won't use any other moisturiser.

I started to use this about a year ago - i have to say I loved it - it is very gentle on my skin and seems to have the right balance of hydration vs oiliness. It's a moisturiser I go back to if my skin is going through a bad patch.

Although short, this opinion seems to cover everything I need to know about a moisturiser. Although it will be difficult to convince me to use anything but Neutrogena...
