This product can be sprayed directly onto your face and eyes, or sprayed onto cotton wool. It has a nice herbal smell that is not overly strong. I have a very reactive skin - my skin can get blotchy, red and irritated at the drop of a hat- and this product comes in a small hand-bag size which makes it portable so you can have anytime, anywhere relief. I recently bought this out of sheer desperation after a nasty reaction to an as yet unidentified product gave me a nasty rash. I chose Dermalogica as they are renowned for products that do not irritate the skin, being free from many of the common culprits for skin irritation (eg, perfume and mineral oils).
