Advantages: good for senstive skin
Disadvantages: pricey for the limited benefits
I used the Dermalogica 1g foundation as I have pale skin. You can get the shade recommended by a Dermalogica beauty therapist.
*** What is it? ***
Demalogica make a range of skincare products so if you want a foundation which is not likely to irritate your skin and to wear as the end of your skincare routine, then they are a good choice.
The treatment foundation comes in a squeezy tube with a small cap on the end, it has a fine nozel so you can just squirt out a small amount, reducing wastage.
*** What is good about it? ***
I have very senstive skin and this did not seem to irritate it at all.
It goes on light and dries well, without a cakey appearance.
*** What is not so good about it? ***
Their range of shades is quite limited, so if their closest one it isn't right for you, it is a bit tough. I found I ended up feeling that as I am so fair, even this shade was a bit dark/orange for me.
It is quite a simple product - no fancy anti-aging ingredients etc (which is both good and not so good depending on what you want from your foundation).
Summary: if the shades work for you and your skin is sensitive, this is worth a go.
