Advantages: Gentle, Soothing, Calming
Disadvantages: none
My skin type is combination with sensitive cheeks and nose that go red when eating chilli, drinking alchohol, and using products that are not good for me.
This cleanser is very soothing, fragrance free, fairly good cleansing power but does not foam, so sometimes I just cleanse twice to make sure it is super clean.
It has helped the redness on my face, it does not itch or sting, or pull my face taught. Even though this cleanser is supposed to be for senstive skin, I believe it is good for most skin conditions except extremely oily. It kind of has the texture and feel of Cetaphil, but has many other ingredients that seem to really help calm redness.
I have tried many product ranges, such as Dr Hauschka, Clarins, Aveda, Nu Skin, Avon, Lancome, Jurlique, L'Occitane, Shiseido, Decleor, Darphin and this one has been the best so far.
When I went to see my Beauty Therapist (the person that got me on to Dermalogica), she told me that although I had congestion in my skin that my face was dehydrated which made the redness worse. I didn't realise this, so hopefully for those out there that read this with the same problem, it might help.
