Advantages: Leaves skin beautifully hydrated

Disadvantages: Only the bigger bottle is worth the price

My beautician recommended the Dermologica products to me as part of my wedding day preparation. I have also heard from many other brides that this range is considered one of the best out in the market. I have sensitive skin which reacts to hot wax and the sun (causing sore botches) but I know other people's skin may be more sensitive and although this cleanser is part of the Dermologica's range for sensitive skin, I have heard from others trying this cleanser that this product is still not "calming" enough. However, for me, this cleanser is so much better than the bog standard from Boots etc.
Smell:
The scent is very mild, almost unnoticeable and very slightly lemony. It's not billed as having any "natural ingredients" but I can honestly say I can't smell anything artificial in this cleanser.
Texture:
The cream is very velvety to the touch and once on the face, a little goes a very long way. A 5p sized blob on the tip of the finger and applied straight onto the face can cover the whole surface area of the face.
Application:
You can simply wipe this off if water is too harsh for your skin (but I haven't tried this so cannot tell you if it leaves a residue or not) or wash the cleanser off the face with a little water. The range recommends that you follow up with the rest of the products - i.e., cream exfoliant, soothing spray, barrier repair. Out of the rest of the range, the barrier repair really compliments the work of the cleanser and provides that extra smooth finish to the skin.
Price:
I have bought a 500ml bottle from eBay for £30, which actually is a very good price. I've had this bottle for about 4 months now and can see that I have at least another 75% left, so it should take me to the end of this year and the possibly mid-2010.
Conclusion:
My skin has been left feeling soft and hydrated ever since using this cleanser but do follow-up with the rest of the range. Highly recommended!

Summary: Excellent cleanser which doesn't leave skin feeling dry
