Since having a very sore throat I've found myself eating a lot more ice lollies than normal. While in my local Asda I decided to pick up a packet of 10 Choc ice's as they were priced at only £3 for 4 items from their £1 range I thought this was a bargain. Otherwise they are normal priced at £1. Each choc ice is individually wrapped in its own plastic paper wrapper, unlike the Tesco value Choc ice which is covered in paper these are easy to open and you don't get little bits of paper attached to the chocolate coating of the choc ice. They come in a pack of 10 in a medium sized box which is fully recyclable. Each choc ice is around 3 ... Read the complete review

I'm not a big fan of ice cream but when it comes to choc ices I always seem to be able to have my arm twisted. I don't usually buy these myself as I only fancy them very occasionally, but my mum and nan both keep a box in their freezers so when the nice weather comes around and I'm at either of their houses, I often pinch one. A choc Ice is a creamy vanilla flavour rectangular block of ice cream which is coated in thin and crispy milk chocolate. As I'm not so keen on plain ice cream, the chocolate on the outside makes these a lot tastier and the chocolate is the real reason that I like them. My kids, as with most children, have a real penchant for ice cream and iced desserts. At Asda at the moment and for some time now, there has been an ongoing offer on the lollies and ice cream desserts, these being "2 for £3.00", though this is a god price, I do find that the amount my kids go through, what with visits from friends and nieces, I do get through these at a rate of knots, so a cheaper alternative was required. The product I will now review is - "Asda, 10 milk choc ices" I have to be honest these were my favourite as a child, it was a real treat to go the cinema on a Saturday lunchtime for the matinee performance then ... Asda milk choc ices come in an attractive cardboard box holding 10 choc ices individually wrapped in clear plastic wrapping. At 10p each they are the perfect thing to give the kids after tea or on a hot day. The choc is delicious on these and melts straight away on the tongue. The ice cream is lovely soft and creamy alongside the chocolate. Being suitable for vegetarians they are ideal. Found in the frozen section in asda with all the other ice creams as you would expect. One thing i find really good with these is the plastic wrapping as when u get the paper wrapping on em it goes soggy and with young ones they end up eating some of it and getting all ...
