      Absolutely beautiful!

I love waffles! I love them any time of day but particularly for breakfast but you know when you forget that you like something and then see them again and you think oh I remember liking those way back?....Well that's what happened to me! lol. The Packaging: See-through plastic tub that has a pull off/on lid to the top of it. On the top of the tub there is a purple label and on that I'm told that they are Asda 'Extra Special' 4 Belgian Waffles 'Made with sugar nibs from the Liege region of Belgium and baked on traditional waffle irons' and the size is stated which is 240g. I'm also told that they are suitable for Vegetarians and that they contain no artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fat. On the front label I'm again simply told what they are and who they are by and on the bottom of the tub there is a label on there to and other information given includes ingredients and allergy advice, I'm told how to heat them up and a full nutritional rundown chart is given and contact details for Asda are stated. Nice enough tub and it's all informative enough and it really all looks rather classy actually to be fair to it! The Waffles: To heat them up all you do is put them in a pre-heated oven for about 3-4 minutes and that is that...ready to eat! In the tub you get 4 waffles. Sort of round in shape they are raised and holey in places. I like the thickness of these and they are already nicely golden when you purchase them! They really are chunky, have a really nice sweet natural smell to them and once cooked through they hold together very well indeed and don't fall apart at all so are really easy to handle! Taste wise well these are of course made from wheat flour. You can really taste the rich creamy butter though they really don't taste too greasy or anything like that. You can see the white 'nibs' of sugar sort of sticky and in small lumps though out the waffles and they just taste absolutely delicious! These are the best waffles I have ever tasted and believe me in my life I've had more than a few of them! They look great, are a great size, are filling and quick and easy to prepare and I simply love the buttery and sweet taste that these have to them! Yummy and my advice is don't just buy one pack...buy more and treat yourself! Nutritional information Per Waffle: Energy: 27 Kcal Protein: 3.5g Carbohydrate: 32.3g Fat: 14.0g Only available in Asda stores and in packs of 4 waffles and cost £2.29 a tub.
