      Very helpful

      Big thumbs up from me!

I do love chocolate and I do love chocolate involved with puddings and desserts and things like that. The other day I spotted this chocolate dessert in Asda costing only 30p a sachet (you make this up into a mousse type of idea) and decided to give it a try as a sweet treat and as something I could store in the cupboard till an emergency! That emergency came tonight by the way!

      The Packaging:

The mix comes in a light and dark brown foil lined sachet of which 59g of the powder is within it and there is a picture of the dessert in a glass with a cartoon cow figure holding it. On the front of the packet we are told that it is Asda 'Chosen By You' Chocolate Delight 'Just add milk and whisk for a light chocolate flavoured dessert' and we are also told that it is suitable for Vegetarians. On the back of the packet other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice being given as well as being told how to make the dessert up, nutritional information is given and contact details for Asda are listed. Nice enough packaging this is, easy to tear open and the instructions are very clearly stated on how to mix this up and so on.

      The Chocolate Mix:

All you do to make this is up is as follows. Tear open the sachet and tip out the sweet fragranced chocolate powder which is a dark brown into a bowl, pour in 1/2 pint of semi-skimmed milk over it (I only purchase and use full fat milk) and then whisk it up till well blended and till it goes thicker than a milkshake and then pop it in the refreifgerator for 5-10 minutes (I left mine about 5 minutes) to thicken up.

What I got was an Angel Delight sort of thickess mousse. It smelt rich and of chocolate though was rather dark......it did taste of milk chocolate...sweet, creamy and with no lumps within it this is a very nice, airy and above all tasty chocolate mousse! Great on its own or with tinned fruit or something I shared it with my flatmate and it gave 2 decent portions. I liked everything about this mosse type dessert...the yummy flavour simply was fabulous and I can't imagine anybody not liking it!

Nice and good quality this cheap costing dessert gets a big thumbs up from us!
