      Yuk!

The past few months I have been trying to stick to a house hold budget, something that I haven’t done for a while, you know what it’s like the more money you got the more money you spend and I thought that my finances needed some control before I start my new job as I would end up spending my wages on unnecessary stuff. Walking around my local store- Asda, I tried to find things that would cut down my food bill. On looking around for a nice yoghurt/dessert for my children I came across smart price chocolate flavoured desserts which was a bit different to my usual brand I would buy like munch bunch for e.g. **The look** Well what can I say about the look? Other than it is quite dull and boring, plain white and green ,the logo Asda smart price written on it and in bold letter 4 chocolate flavour dessert and that’s basically it, the actual dessert comes in 4 clear cartons that you break off and come at a price of 48p that is 12p per carton, so very cheap and cheerful. On opening this frightening product I noticed the contents was less than appealing to me in fact it looked like a bad episode I had when I eat a kebab a few months back, (sorry for those of you being sick right now) But I had to try it as I am doing this review, as I was whirling this dessert with a spoon I noticed the texture to be very runny so its making it more less appealing to me to try it. **The taste** The smell is in fact chocolaty so I think I might blind fold myself for the next step because I can honestly say that If I look at it then I wont eat it. The taste is… Yuk! Sorry to be blunt, blindfolded or not, it is chocolaty but it leaves this most horrible after taste and it sticks your tongue and pallet together it actually made me want to get a glass of water as it made me quite thirsty and even then I could still taste it. The only way I explain the taste is milk with a hint of chocolate. Now as I said in the start of this review I did buy this for my children so I put together some questions and answers from their own thoughts. 10 year old girl. What do you think of the packaging? Very boring What do you think about the contents? The colour is horrible and it is runny. Do you like the contents? Yes, it tastes like chocolate. So there you go, it is more desirable for children than adults only because it is a chocolate dessert. **Allergy advice** *Contains milk and Soya *May contain traces of nuts/or seeds. Nutrition: Typical values per 100g Energy 438kj/104cal, protein 2.4g. Carbohydrates 19.1g, of which sugars 12.6g, fat 2.5g, of saturates 1.7g, fibre 0.8g, sodium 0.05g, equivalent salt 0.1g. * Funny note* It can be used other ways, if your husband likes it for e.g. instead of buying those expensive chocolate rubs you could use this instead hehe. Hope you enjoyed reading my review. Clair xx
