Advantages: Very cheap, tastes nice
Disadvantages: Kids dont like value brands in their lunchboxes
Asda Smart Price Low Fat Strawberry Yoghurt
You can but 4 pots of this yoghurt for just 29p, its as cheap as chips adn tastes good too.
Smart Price Youghurts (Strawberry) come in small 25g plastic pots with an easy to peel lid (no mess) and distinctive green and white asda label. They have a smooth, relativley creamy and slightly sweet taste. In my opinion they taste like most other supermarket branded yoghurts and better than some more popular brands.
The only disadvantage I have found to them is with the kids. My kids will scoff away on them at home no problem at all, but dare to introdce one to a lunch box and its a no go area. Aparently it is not cool to have supermarket brands and especially not value brands in your lunchbox . I can relate to this as I was much the same myself only it was about only drinking coca cola with me.
Anyway each pot is very low in calories and low in fat
Each pot contains 0.8g of fat and 96 calories making it a very healthy low fat snack. I enjoy them when trying to lose weight as they are quite filling and also versitile. I enjoy them straight from the pot, ontop of ceral and along with fruit.
Overall, good very cheap, nice tasting yoghurt, what more do you need?
Summary: Nice Yoghurts
