... as I'd like. The bright blue box, which encased the said pie, was embellished with a rather juicy looking pie filled with cherries. I could see it clearly on my plate covered with custard.
The pie is almost six inches in diameter and a good two inches thick which meant it either had a lot of thick pastry or it was packed with delicious cherries. I think either all the previous reviewers are employed by Bessie herself or I've been unlucky .I counted 3.5 cherries amongst the flavourless pink goo . Mostly made up of pastry too . Not even worth bothering with for £1

Intro I like eating and in particular I like dinnertime, I like my main course and it is even better if there is a pudding on the horizon afterwards. I'm really not too fussed as to what type or kind of pudding it is, Ice Cream, sponge, or pie are all equally acceptable, I'm quite keen on these milk whipped desserts such as Angel Delight. However if I had to choose I'd probably come down on the side of a nice fruit pie, with or without custard. I cooked my first ever "proper" meal yesterday which is a proper miracle for me because usually I cant even cook beans on toast without messing it up but anyway I think it was a big success. Since Id made all the dinner from scratch I didnt really want to make a really complicated desert so I went to Morrisons and bought one of these Aunt Bessies pies for everyone to eat after the dinner. I'm not sure about others, but as these chillier nights come in, I can't think of anything nicer than having a nice hot pudding. Usually it involves fruit and custard/ice cream. Last night I was in Iceland when I noticed they had an offer on. It was for Aunt Bessies Morello Cherry Pie and they were only charging £1. I've bought these before for £1.59 from Tesco and I knew I liked them, so I put one in the trolley. Upon arriving home I prepared my tea, and then popped the pie in the oven.
