The outer part is a bit cardboard that keeps them all together. These taste nice. They aren't too sickly either. This is just made up of Chocolate Sponge, some Chocolate Mousse which is quite light and fluffy, some Chocolate Custard and some Cream on top with Chocolate shavings to finish it off. I don't have 1 to hand but think these have around 140 calories per ...more

I would say that I like Cakes and the odd bar of Chocolate better than a Chocolate Trifle, but things like these are nice now and again. These were on offer for £1 for the pack of 3 the other month in Tesco. They normally cost around the £1.50 mark, so a bit saving is usually enough to get the wife to try something different. I bought Cadburys highlights trifle last week in ASDA on special offer of £1 for a pack of three, not bad if you fancy a treat, as they normally retail around £1.50, each 3 pack is wrapped in a cardboard sleeve to hold the pots together which has the classic Cadburys style banner around it, the pots are see-through so you can see all its layers. The pots are 90g in size. This highlights trifle is simply for chocolate lovers. Once you open a Cadbury Highlights Trifle, the more its layers entice you. First the layer of cream topping which has sugar and sweeteners, then the light bubbly reduced fat chocolate mouse which surrounds the soft cookie, which is my ...  Read the complete review
