A friend of mine came over for lunch last week and brought these Cadbury Highlights Trifles with her. We scoffed them before lunch, as we were too impatient to wait 30 minutes for the quiche to cook!

They come in a pack of three, which is slightly annoying because I think it is rare that there will be three people who want one. It is so much more likely to be two or four - this is probably a ploy for you to end up buying more... but then I am a cynic.

There are lots of different chocolately layers. The mousse is smooth and like melted chocolate. It is topped with fake cream. I like to mix eh layers together because I am not keen on cream on its own but my friend thought I was mad to do this. Up to you! The base has a soft chocolate biscuit texture - it is truly delicious. The various layers work really well together.

They are 130 calories per pot, which is still quite high in my opinion. They are delicious though and about half the calories of many full fat chocolate trifles.
