The sauce is rather like a hot chocolate bar that has been melted down and tastes great in conjuction with the spongey texture of the chocolate pudding. I don't want to give anybody the impression that I'm a suggestible person but, less than 7 hours after reading a review on Dooyoo about a product that I'd never heard of before, I've purchased it, eaten it and here I am writing a review about it! In my defence, I did need to go to the supermarket for a top-up shop. You know the sort - milk, bread....chocolate puddings... I couldn't help it! (The previous review did contain the rather tempting strapline 'better than sex', as well as sporting an attractive picture of a chocolate sponge oozing with chocolate sauce. Yum.) I just happened to loiter past the refrigerated puddings section a moment too long and my son spotted my  Read the complete review

A perfect treat from Cadbury (461 words)

I'm a big fan of Cadbury products and I love a good sweet treat. I saw these on offer in Tescos for £1 a pack, reduced from £2, and I couldn't resist the temptation! For this price you get two individual chocolate puddings in microwavable plastic tubs. They should be kept refrigerated and can also be frozen. It is extremely easy to prepare this dessert, just remove the plastic film covering the tub and pop it in the microwave for just under 60 seconds. This is a nice quick way to finish off a meal, or to just prepare as a treat if you fancy a hot snack. Once you've microwaved the pudding it is then ready to be transferred to a bowl, or if you're lazy like me ...  Read the complete review

Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Pudding: Yummy Chocolate Pud (319 words)

I was looking for a treat for my daughter and I and found these puddings in Morrison's on special offer for £1, I think that they are usually about £1.20. The puddings were in the refrigerated section of the supermarket but had a long sell by date of the 15th May (I bought them on the 30th April). In fact they can be frozen if required. Each pudding comes in its own plastic container with a cardboard sleeve around both puddings with the Cadbury logo and a picture of the pudding along with heating instructions. The puddings are designed to be heated in the microwave for between 50 and 60 seconds each pudding, depending on the power output of your ...  Read the complete review

Amazing Dessert (266 words)

It normally costs £1.99 for a twin pack of Cadbury Hot Chocolate Sponge Puddings, but you can get them for only 99p in Tesco at the moment. Bargain! The first time I had one of these it was when they were on offer when they were first released. I thought the full price seemed ridiculous for two tiny little puddings, but then I tried one for the first time and quickly changed my mind. These puddings come in little purple plastic pots with a cover on. To heat them up, just remove the cover from the top of the pot and pop them in the microwave for the time it tells you to on the packet (a minute or two depending on your microwave). Once ...  Read the complete review

Anyone who is a regular reader of my reviews will know that I love all things chocolate, in particular all things with the Cadbury's branding. I was thrilled then, to discover the twin pack of little tubs of 'Cadbury's Hot chocolate pudding' in my local Tesco store, and even more thrilled to discover the bright yellow sticker atop the puddings that indicated to me that they were on special offer and were only going to cost £1, instead of the £1.99 that was detailed on the shelf in Tesco's. With that, I swept the purple pots into my trolley - my mind was well and truly made up! The puddings then remained in my fridge for a couple of days (quite strong ...  Read the complete review
