Disadvantages: None for me at all!
Not very often will I buy sweet things in to my home, I cant be trusted with them! Add to that I suffer with incredibly sensitive teeth due to lack of enamel on them so although my taste-buds simply love ice-cream my teeth really don't!
However due to owning a Tesco clubcard I got some money off vouchers plus £3.50 off to spend instore as I wanted to so I took a wander down to a store with nothing in mind to buy and decided to treat myself to a couple of bits I wouldn't usually and I found a box of four of these, on offer (for a limited time only) at only 99p instead of closer to a couple of pounds so I bought them.
The box is light and dark blue with a flip top style opening to it on the front or it the Walls symbol is show and we told that they are Cornetto '4' Classico and there is a picture shown of one of the Cornettos and we are told that per cornetto there are 190 calories in it then the bottom of the box in appearance is the same as the top (without the flip top style opening of course) then on the sides of the box other information listed includes ingredients and a full nutritional chart are given, the weight is stated which is 360ml for the 4 of them and contact details for the manufacturer are also stated. The cones are all individually wrapped in silver foil and on that we are told what they are and the lid is paper as is the inside of the cone wrapper. Nice enough packaging this is.
These are quite simply gorgeous! Cone in shape, the top is set white, vanilla and creamy and naturally sweet and yummy ice-cream and on that section there is a crunchy milk chocolate and a sprinkle of hazelnut and meringue pieces are on there. The wafer cone itself is textured, quite thick and light brown in colour, lined on the inside with milk chocolate rather thinly and packed full of ice-cream and then to the base of the cone there is a hard section of yummy milk chocolate.
Everything about these is lovely and equally lovely quality. These are a nice size to handle and nibble on, lovely when the ice-cream melts a bit, the chocolate and hazelnuts add texture, the wafer of the cone doesn't go soggy and adds crunch and the whole lot even when you sit and relax and take your time to enjoy it you don't get covered in gunge and gunk, so they are not hard to eat!
With only 190 calories for one cone and and 8g of saturated fat I think these are ideal for a little enjoyable treat by all ice-cream fans.
These are readily available in all good supermarkets etc and in different flavours and sized packs too!
