Advantages: Yogurt that pours

Disadvantages: Only 3 flavours

Pouring yogurt? I was a bit sceptical at first but I admit I really love the Vanilla flavour and would go so far as saying it is as good as cream!

Marketed as a breakfast yogurt to serve with cereal, to use in smoothies or just on its own, it is available in 3 flavours, Vanilla, strawberry and natural.

The carton
The carton is quite tall and slim so easy to fit in the door of the fridge, recyclable tetra pack, with a screw top so easy to serve and seal again. The carton has the typical green colour of Activa and features a picture of how it can be served. Contents are 950grams and the nutritional information is on the side of the carton.

Contents
The vanilla pouring yogurt is a thick creamy consistency, it smells of vanilla and is a nice deep creamy colour. It tastes delicious, a lovely vanilla flavour, having not sampled the other flavours I can't comment on them. Strawberry yogurt is amongst my worst flavour and natural doesn't tempt me!

Nutrition

They suggest 130 grams as being an average serving that means you can use a carton in 7 days. which is the length of time suggested for storing after opening. One serving has 85 cals, it has 4 grams of protein, 12.4 grams of carbohydrate, 2grams of fat, and a trace of salt, plus some useful calcium.

Advertised as less than 2% fat it is a healthy option and it contains Bifidobacterium lactis which is good for the gut by helping the digestive system.

Uses
Obviously on cereal for breakfast, on top of fruit and pancakes, with fruit salad, in smoothies or on top of pies, tarts apple cake instead of cream for dinner or a snack. The natural flavour could be used in cooking where ordinary yogurt would be used like in naan bread.

Why did I buy it?

Well to be truthful I didn't. I am a Bzz agent and had a voucher to receive it free and tell other people all about it.

Do I like it?

Yes. It is really delicious and versatile and something I will pop in my trolley more often now.

Cost.

Normally £1.98 it is on offer in Tesco for £1 until May 15th.
