Danone do do tasty yoghurts don't they? I always recommend them to my friends who enjoy a thick creamy texture and not too much sweetness in their desserts. Danoe Activia can be purchased in a range of fruit varieties and fruit flavours and as you can probably guess, they generally have a very fruity flavour, especially contained in those lumpy bits of fruit. There are also fat free and extra fibre options. Danone Activia is considered a healthy food in that it supposedly contains a beneficial bacteria that works together naturally with the bacteria found in that human digestive tract. This is supposed to result in smooth digestion and leave the individual with higher energy levels. The manufacturers suggest that two pots of Danone yoghurt a day during the course of a fortnight should leave your digest system completely renewed and ready to go. From experience I'm not so sure it makes any difference, but I should say that I have a fairly healthy digest system so that may be the reason. I would say though that eating yoghurt such as this probably is healthier than scoffing a mars bar or chomping on Kit Kats during your daily snacks. It's also a healthier choice for after meal desserts.

According to the manufacturers Activia yoghurt also improves a slower digestive transit. A slower transit can occasionally leave you feeling bloated which can make you feel uncomfortable in yourself. And as my cognitive therapist often tells me, a healthy gut means a nice complexion.

A four pack of Danone Activia usually sells for about £1.50 at most of the main supermarkets. From time to time you might also find eight pack offers for those searching for that extra bargain. Danone Activia is a lovely yoghurt though, and I highly recommend them.
