As it was nice and warm yesterday I treated myself to buying some ice cream lollies and a I bought a pack of Feast Ice Cream lollies which were on offer at the Co-op buy two packets for £3 which I thought was reasonable.
This is not the only reason I bought them, the other reason I bought them was to have a chocolate hit and you really do get one with a feast ice cream.
Its made by Walls and comes in a stay fresh wrapper.
Once you open the wrapper you are presented with a healthy chocolate covered stick of thick ice cream, the chocolate is sprinkled with lots and lots of little biscuit crumbs embedded into the chocolate coating.
On taking a bite out of the chocolate covering you can then see the rich creamy chocolate ice cream inside, then if that's not enough the centre is a thick chunk of chocolate to eat around and save until the last.
I absolutely love these lollies for the chocolate feast they do give you, but they don't quench your thirst one bit when you are hot, a twister is more suited for that purpose.
It's just a chocolate indulgent lolly for when you have that urge for chocolate and sometimes you do feel like you shouldn't have eating one as they can be sickly if your travelling in a car whilst eating one.
However, saying that I still like them if I am feeling in the mood for chocolate ice cream.
Each ice-cream comes with 290 calories and 21.6g of fat. Which is quite high but when you look at how much chunky chocolate your eating its about right. Not for the dieters but for a luxurious nibble when you feel like a creamy chocolate ice cream.
If you like chocolate you'll love these they are chunky and cheaper than other chocolate ice creams like magnums but you have to eat them quickly in the hot sun as they do melt rapidly and get sticky, not really for children on a hot day if you want to keep their clothes clean.
I would recommend them to you if your a chocoholic like me, they are delicious and satisfy your chocolate cravings and you really can't eat more than one as they would make you feel sickly.
Compared to other chocolate ice cream lollies they are good although you do get more thicker ice cream and chocolate on a magnum, I prefer a feast as I love eating the outer chocolate crispy crunch and trying to eat around the chocolate middle and saving it for last, but that's just the inner child in me coming out.
Have fun x
