All along I have loved Galaxy chocolate and other items within the Galaxy range. Equally, I have always loved ice cream, so this is the perfect combination. Unlike other similiar items, the taste of Galaxy hasn't been lost too much by turning it into an ice cream. For example, M&M ice cream is just ice cream with a few M&Ms stuck on top. The Galaxy: Blissfully vanilla, consists of vanilla ice cream, and caramel on the inside. Which is then covered in a layer of Galaxy Milk Chocolate and then frozen.
As ever with Galaxy products, I thought the taste was brilliant. Personally, I would say that it even beats magnums in terms of taste. The Caramael and vanilla ice cream are the two dominant tastes in the item. And this is a good thing (so long as you like caramel) as the two go very well together. Then add on top of this a layer of Galaxy chocolate and you can be blissfully dreaming. :) So overall, the taste couldn't be better, everything works very well together.
Appearance and Price
The Galaxy Blissfully Vanilla is split up into 2 sections, kind of like a kit kat is. Each finger is filled with ice cream, caramel and covered with chocolate. On packaging, its just the typical Mars packaging. Brown and Cream, so you should be able to recognise it quite easily. In terms of price, they should cost around 1.40 in the shops. Multipacks of 5 are available as well in supermarkets.
So overall, a very good product well worth trying. It has a great taste to it and a decent price as well.
Galaxy vanilla choc ice cream barsare simply the most delicious and irresistible choc bars that I have ever tasted. Firstly the chocolate is so creamy and the ice creamis yummy.Problem is - they are hard to find. My Sainsbury's (Newport) has just stopped stocking them.PLEASE PLEASE get the manufacturer to provide a list of stockists.
