“ Brand: Jennies / Type: Ice Cream „
A litre tub is not quite enough however is it is on special offer at Tesco at the moment, it works out quite nicely as you can get two tubs for £2...bargain!
When you first open the tub the chocolate is nicely swirled to make it look very inviting. There is chocolate ice cream with a lovely chocolate sauce swirled into it. When you first open the tub the product is really easy to scoop, however second and third time it is rock hard and so you need to take it out of the freezer five minutes before you need to use it so that you can scoop it out of the tub into the bowl. This can be a bit annoying but it can be a trait of the cheaper ice creams. When you taste it, you can tell it is not a premium product as the chocolate is not quite rich enough, however it does have the lovely gooey sauce which can help with the taste a little bit. Overall quite creamy and smooth tasting and not any of those horrible chips of ice you can get sometimes in tubs of ice cream. Not an ice cream to indulge in when feeling the need to be pampered but a nice after dinner treat.
litre plastic oblong tub, easily opened by snapping corner off. Nutritional values plain on top along with "suitable for vegetarian" symbol. After being stored in freezer tub is easy to open by peeling corner unlike some other ice cream cartons.
each scoop contains (but how much is a scoop??)
0.2 g salt
This is obviously not a healthy proudct but then again who expects ice cream to be a slimming product!! Just enjoy
