*About the Product*

Strawberry Shortcake yoghurt is one of the varieties in the Muller Crunch Range. It is strawberry milkshake flavoured yoghurt with white chocolate coated shortcake balls.

*The Packaging*

The packaging differs from the one in the stock picture. The yoghurt comes in a plastic tub with 2 compartments..one for the yoghurt which is the biggest compartment and a smaller compartment for the white chocolate shortcake balls. The packaging is recyclable. The lid is foil and is mainly blue and white. It has the Muller logo, the name of the product, a picture in the corner of the shortcake balls, nutritional information, ingredients, weight of pack, company details and best before date as standard.

*Claims*

Muller specify that the yoghurt contains 22% of calcium RDA (recommended daily allowance), no artificial colours or preservatives and no artificial sweeteners.

*Ingredients*

The main ingredients include yoghurt, sugar, water, cocoa butter, milk, wheat flour, vegetable fat, modified maize starch, flavourings, salt, soya etc. Contains milk, wheat and soya. May contain nut or egg traces.

*Nutritional Information*

100g contains 155kcal 3.9g protein 17.4g sugar 3.3g saturated fat.

*Availability*

These are available at major supermarkets in the yoghurt aisle. Each yoghurt is 150g in weight and they are available in multipacks with other flavours. Asda currently have these on offer at 8 for £2 but they retail at 52p approx.

*My Opinion*

I enjoy eating yoghurts as part of a balanced diet but i normally opt for the fruity variety as they are healthier. Today whilst in Asda, i noticed the Muller yoghurt range on 8 for £2 and picked my fiance picked up 4 including this one. I picked up another 3 and couldn't decide on a fourth so i went for this one too! Still feeling rather peckish though sick of the mini eggs i checked the fridge for a snack and spotted this. As i peeled back the lid, i could smell the milkshake aroma which is rather sickenly sweet. I tipped my shortcake balls into the pink yoghurt and mixed them in til they were covered. The taste test..oh so sweet but oh so indulgent! I savoured every mouthful as if i didn't i would be tempted to devour my fiances and he wouldn't be pleased! After finishing i felt happy and content though started to feel a tad sick. I think its due to having ate lots of sweet things tonight and not the yoghurt in particular!

I would recommend this yoghurt as a dessert or weekly treat however i would not say it is suited to everyday consumption due to the sweetness of it. It was tasty though!

Summary: KEEP FOR A TREAT
